Trans-sectoral Innovation

PhD for Maurice Kwakkernaat
Friday, February 27, 2009

On December 10, 2008, Maurice Kwakkernaat was the first DRD student to obtain his doctorate with a thesis on "Angular Dispersion of Radio Waves in Mobile Channels Measurements based Analysis and Modeling".

Congratulations Maurice!

A quotation from dr.ir. Kwakkernaat:

“For me, the framework Dutch Research Delta (DRD) provided new insights in the connections between technical and social innovations as well as the importance of trans-sectoral innovations. It allowed me to share my results and ideas with experts in other fields and also convinced me that true innovations require these fields to work together more closely. The DRD meetings and interesting discussions have broadened my view and will certainly continue to play an important role in my future career.”
